Because cold can make muscles tense and stiff, it’s a good idea to fully warm up about 30 to 60 minutes later with a warm shower or a hot drink.

Contrast Water Therapy (Hot-Cold Bath) If you prefer alternating hot and cold baths, the most common method includes one minute in a cold tub (55 degrees) and two minutes in a hot tub (about 103 degrees), repeated about 3 times. All ways end on cold!

Most couples that come to Hawaii to get married usually focus on having a beach wedding. There is something very exciting about having your feet in the sand, while the sun is setting. Imagine standing at the edge of the ocean, the water lapping at your feet, as you look into your beloved’s eyes and utter those words of love for a lifetime. A beach wedding dream can be yours in Hawaii. So where do you begin?

First, if you do some Google research on Hawaii you’ll discover that there are four major islands in the chain that are worth considering for your destination wedding: Oahu, Kauai, Maui and Hawaii (also called the Big Island). Each of these isles have great opportunities for beach weddings as well as lot of activities for your honeymoon afterward.

Each island has its own unique features. Oahu is crowded and has a lot of activities, but it isn’t very romantic unless you get out of busy Honolulu. I wouldn’t recommend it for the average couple if they want an intimate and romantic beach wedding.

The Big Island of Hawaii is VERY big, with an active volcano. Unfortunately, that volcano brings with is some bad air quality. Even if you can’t see it, the locals call the air “vog” (as in volcanic smog), and it might not made you feel too good. You should know that there are only a few good sandy beaches available on the island of Hawaii.

Kauai is small, more rural and less populated. It has many nice beaches, but few of those beaches face into the west side so it is difficult to have a good beach sunset wedding on Kauai. 

All in all, Maui is the most popular tourist island of the chain. This fact comes from the recommendation of many tourists who have consistently voted Maui the best island in the world year after year. Maui offers the best beaches on its west and south shores that look right into the setting sun so that you can likely have an awesome sunset beach wedding in Maui.

And when your wedding is over, there will be many different activities to enjoy on Maui. You can visit the 10,000 foot high volcano, drive the scenic road to Hana, or enjoy so many other fun activities on this large (but not too large) romantic island. If you talk to just about anyone who has come to more than one Hawaii island, they’ll tell you Maui is the best.

Once you decide that you are going to have a Maui beach wedding, there are several things you want to think about. First, what kind of a Maui wedding package do you want? It is always wise to choose a Maui wedding company that offers a variety of wedding packages so that you can have something which is affordable but which still includes all of the services that you want. 

Second, find a Maui wedding company that offers great photography. If there are not a lot of great photos on the company’s website, keep looking for one that offers lots of pictures which show off what they do. Remember, not all photographers are equal in ability and you want a company who has a photographer is will give you great images. 

Third, decide which Maui beach you want to be married on. We highly recommend the beaches in south Maui, because they are less crowded, more beautiful and have better weather.

Fourth, call a Maui wedding company that offers you personal service. When you call on the phone, notice how you’re treated. If you are spoken to with the spirit of aloha, you are much more likely to have a good experience with that company.
